Introduction to Facebook & Instagram Promotions
Last updated August 31, 2026
Sovoli supports two promotion types on Facebook and Instagram. The right choice depends on how many offers you want to promote and how much choice you want to give people when they click your ad.
Promote your business
Promote your business launches a different ad funnel that sends people to your main page. From there, they choose which offer fits them.
This works well when:
- You run a K-12 school with separate offerings by grade (for example, Grade 1 through Grade 6)
- The programs are largely the same experience at different ages
- You want one ad to reach families and let them self-select the right grade or program
The ad promotes your school or business — not a single program. People land on your homepage, browse what you offer, and pick the path that matches their child or need.

Promote an offer
Promote an offer sends people straight to one specific offering page.
This works well when:
- You are promoting a specific service, course, or program
- You run adult education or vocational training where each program has a distinct audience
- You want focused messaging and a single clear call to action
The ad and landing page are built around one offering. People who click already know what they are looking at and can apply or enquire immediately.

Which should I use?
| Situation | Best fit | | --- | --- | | K-12 school with grade-level programs (same school, different ages) | Promote your business | | One specific course, service, or adult program | Promote an offer | | Testing which programs get interest across your catalog | Promote your business | | Driving enrollments for a single upcoming intake | Promote an offer |
