Work & Asset Management

From assets to action.

Manage the things your organization operates, coordinate the work performed on them, and maintain a history of inspections, activities, and results.

Assets: a record that stays with the thing

Keep persistent records for the physical assets you manage. Records hold identifying attributes, location information and linked photographs. Work items connect activities and results back to an asset. The current implementation supports utility poles; equipment, facilities and other asset types require setup for your operation.

Work orders: turn a scope into assignments

Group work by location or activity and assign the asset-level tasks to staff or contractors with business access. A work order can cover multiple assets, and an asset can appear in multiple work orders over time. The current survey implementation organizes work orders by city.

Forms & field data collection

Collect structured observations, measurements and photographic evidence against the assigned work. The form depends on the work being performed: a survey needs different questions from a repair visit. A pole survey process is available today; additional forms and work types may require configuration or custom implementation.

Assignments & tracking

Give each work item a responsible person. Track work that has not started, is in progress, is blocked or is complete. Review submitted observations and photographs alongside the assignment to understand the result.

Connected work history

An asset remains linked to its work items and submitted results over time. Review earlier observations when deciding what needs attention next. For example, a team could move from a pole survey to survey results, then create a follow-up assignment and record completed work. Follow-up work is created deliberately; it is not an automated workflow.

Applications across industries

The same asset-and-assignment approach can support utility inspections, school facilities, training-provider equipment, property maintenance and equipment servicing. These are potential applications, not claims of existing deployments. Asset types, forms and work processes are scoped with your team.

Part of your Sovoli business

Work records use shared business identities and staff access, structured forms and media storage. Your website can run within the same business platform. Discuss your access and communication needs during setup; work-order notification automation is not included in this feature.

Plan your operational setup

Start with your assets, team and the information you need to collect. Sovoli currently supports a configured pole survey process. Other asset types, work types and forms may require configuration or custom implementation. We’ll help scope the setup for your organization.
